How many people are killed by e-bikes each year? I don't know either but it's certainly less than the 40,000 killed by cars each year yet those vehicles aren't speed limited for some reason.

Free parking, in fact, does the opposite of revitalizing cities and businesses. Car storage on public land should be priced to market rates for the time and areas. It would alleviate cruising for spots and encourage short term storage creating the turnover needed for businesses to thrive.

Interesting. I'm still uncomfortable being a beta tester for tech companies with my life as the expense. Waymos in Texas are ignoring stopped school buses, but since no one was hit these multiple instances probably don't make it into the reports

My reasoning is adding cars is not a solution since the supposedly safer Waymo is not going to remove any cars from our streets. We'll still have Uber, Lyft, and personal cars out there. Waymos will just be more cars circling waiting for a rider or parked in a parking spot empty taking up space.
