Must be nice to have a government try to protect its people, but I wouldn't know what that's like. Maybe their "thoughts and prayers" have more oomph with their accent.

My mom had hand surgery today. Her prescription pain meds were denied by her insurance.
As a veteran, I get the best healthcare available for free from the gov. When my Dr. prescribes me something, I go down the hall in the hospital and within 15 mins I have my meds.

Please please please stop Waymo from being legal here! We don't need more cars on the roads we need more and better transit. The only solution to car congestion are viable alternatives to driving.
Make downtown a place people want to be pedestrians in not drive through.

40,000 to 50,000 deaths per year by motor vehicles.

It took less than 3,000 deaths to overthrow two different governments, kill countless civilians, and traumatize whole generations in multiple countries but since the fossil fuel industry is the cause there's nothing we can do apparently.

What to do when those in power are intent on burning the place down and ruling the ashes?
They have their boats and bunkers and talk of overpopulation when in reality they're afraid of the masses.
It's the rich against the poor in a war on classes.

I fucking hate cars so much. I have six lights on my bicycle and I still get hit by a driver running a red. My bike and I are fine thankfully but the cops let him go because they didn't see it.

At this point it would probably be easier to count the days a driver DOESN'T almost hit me while I cycling in Minneapolis than days when they do.
I have front and rear lights on, pedals that flash and light up and still drivers say they didn't see me. It's not a cyclist problem but a driver one.

Think about that. Then do something.
