One of the reasons people take dementia tests is that you retain verbal acuity and capacity longer than critical reasoning, on average by about 3-6 years, so there are people who are effectively just not capable of processing information and reacting who sound completely fine if you talk to them.

They should be paid a higher rate, revision of something shoddily done is always far more work than doing it right yourself the first time.

Idk I feel like she could either be more separate or more mainstream. she does feel, as you put it, reactionary.

I think if I were to enjoy her music more in a different direction, I'm probably enjoy it more if it were less concerned with the mainstream. But I guess I don't mind that much.

Agreed and/but I like it, if that makes sense. I feel like St. Vincent's music is extremely intertwined with what she's pushing away from.

but like... I like pop music! I like a lot of mainstream music culture! And I like St. Vincent for how she uses it as much as how she pushes away from it

i think that democrats who did not previously support transgender for everybody should keep in mind that not supporting transgender for everybody, a thing you should support, will not stop republicans from saying you support transgender for everybody

i think it mainly becomes bad when there is not enough power and that prompts spinning up dirty coal or similar, like with grok datacenters.

if it's nuclear or other clean energy powered agreed. but there is something to be said against compute for compute's sake if it has environmental costs
