Breaking News: A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to release the pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil on bail. He has not been charged with a crime.

Mr. Khalil, a Columbia University graduate and legal permanent resident, has been held in Louisiana for more than three months. The Trump administration is trying to deport him.
