Tate Reeves knows exactly what he’s doing. They missed the deadline to apply for federal programs that feed these innocent kids for the summer. This is the 2nd time they have done this. Mind you MS is the poorest state in the nation. #MSGovernor

We are saddened to learn of the death of President Carter. President Carter’s legacy extends beyond his 4 years serving in office, but also includes his post-Presidency work to build democratic institutions throughout the world.

We offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

The uncountable hours I spent reading and watching political coverage and at the end I had no idea what world I was living in, I just thought I did. If I'd spent that time reading about, say, birds, I would now know an awful lot about an awful lot of birds.

What I'm focused on now: fighting for America's public school system, one critical key to gaining, restoring, and retaining democracy.

There was good news on that front yesterday. Voters in three states rejected voucher systems that would weaken public schools and fund religious institutions.
Voters rejected multiple school choice measures in 2024 election
Voters rejected separate proposals in Colorado and Kentucky that aimed to add language supporting school choice to their states' constitutions.
