Putin's personal advisor is now claiming that the Soviet Union still legally exists and therefore the war in Ukraine is an internal Soviet dispute. Trump gives up on a ceasefire after Putin told him "no" and Trump does not want to sanction Russia, but Congress is going to do it anyways.
