This is what ours used to do - she loved to be pushed around on this rolling ladder. OH started it. She would see him near it and run to jump on and demand that he take her for a ride. She'd be mugging for pets all the while.

It's ridiculous. One place, the AC actually broke and got stuck on. One poor girl made a roof on her cubicle out of cardboard, because the frigid air was blowing right down her neck.
When the men were cuddling hot coffee mugs and commenting how cold it was, THEN they fixed it. 🙄

Brings back good memories of Very Little Me riding in the shopping cart, screaming with laughter as Mom raced to "snap it up quickly, just 30 seconds more". Gentler times.

I was barely in range of them! So jealous of the next door neighbor, who was a HAM radio guy and set up an antenna just for that station. 😂 That said, I learned (from him) how the ionosphere can bounce radio waves, which is why North OC sometimes got 91X loud and clear.

I suspect you may have been within range of 91x FM at that point in time? I don't recall hearing the Waterboys on more mainstream stations.
