It's very common to assume your reader knows what you do, but that's not true. Never feel bad or like you're "dumbing it down" in order to communicate why things are important. It's better to hit someone over the head with importance rather than assume they know why it's important, when they don't.

Owen has raided the Paper #Conservation studio and made a mess of our Conservator's inks. These are used to subtly tint specialist Japanese paper to colour match them for use in mending, repairing or infilling missing portions of pages or lining delicate items. #ElfOnTheShelf #NaturalHistoryMuseum
