Australia skated through the GFC and missed the class / political realignment that hit the US and Europe in the 2010s. But it looks like the post-Covid economic collapse is about to have a similiar effect.

This is an extremely grim chart.

I am led to believe Labor's party room has seen some graffiti that upset everyone. Why not just do what the party room already does so well. #auspol #StopIsrael #FreePalestine

I just found out that around 20% of the neanderthal genome still exists today in living people!!

No individual person has more than 3 or 4% but we don't all have the same bits. If you add up all the bits we've found, about a fifth of the Neanderthal genome is still present on earth today.

Paul Fletcher is panicked about losing Bradfield

Paul Fletcher's grand conspiracy theory is the most interesting thing he's ever said
Paul Fletcher — a nullity of a politician who has occupied Bradfield for 15 years — is panicking over being replaced by a community independent.

End the two party system.

Elect an independent or a Green. Even if they’re not 100% of everything you want, hold your nose and change the system.

My ALP federal MP sent me a request to donate to their Christmas appeal, to raise money for crisis accommodation.

Do they not know they are in government? Do they not understand they could just fund crisis accommodation? Do they believe associating themselves with a charity makes them look good?

Oh absolutely 💯

I think having all the blue tick people pushed to the top of the replies has really altered the perception of who the average person is and what they feel about a topic, which in turn brings out the crazies, further altering that perception.
Honestly though… some of the 💩 on Twitter reminds of some of the wildest forums I’ve seen on the dark web; heavily leaning into complete delusion and nothing more than political disinformation/peacocking.

“X” just became a waste of… well, literally everything.
