People often ask us to justify why we do our work or explain its broader benefit to society. I often retort with: “No one asks an accountant, or someone making money from money, what their greater purpose is.” Yet, someone like me working to conserve frogs is treated as if that’s not a real job. I’m not tired of justifying that what I do is important, because we are saving species from the face of extinction. But I do enjoy making people laugh with that joke, because it’s true.

This is a small-potatoes argument but I think it's true for a lot of other artists-- drawing erotica and getting to share it with you is an incredibly fulfilling part of my life as an artist and person and having that taken away would leave me with a void in my heart so vast it's hard to think about

When Rob got diagnosed, the good people at Colontown told me not to google statistics - they no longer applied. Every 3 months he gets a blood test based off his initial tumor to determine if there is any cells running wild in his system.

It’s amazing. I’m grateful every day.

The year I was born. we basically had no idea why cancers happened and now we understand the underlying force behind it with 100% clarity and the molecular forces behind it with many orders of magnitude more resolution.

We were entirely in the dark, and now the room is lit.
