Zero shots on target will do that. I hate that the goal was ultimately directly a result of not making the obvious substitution for an injury and playing down for several minutes. Adrian González didn't get it right tonight.

alyssa thompson should’ve been the wake up call, but since it wasn’t, if trin leaves then berman and the board of governors will have successfully transitioned the nwsl into a feeder league. congrats on those expansion fees tho.

This is another topic where standing still and hoping the problem sorts itself out is not an option available to NWSL right now.
Within the CBA, the league holds the right to increase the salary cap. This isn't the only looming contract that will test whether they ever will, but it is the Big One.
