An Irish Blessing on St. Patrick's Day

May those who love us, love us;
And for those who don't love us,
May God turn their hearts;
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we will know them by their limping.

A new type of vaccine based on mRNA technology is seen by many as a potential breakthrough in the fight against cancer.

We sat down with oncologist Lennard Lee to discuss why he hopes these vaccines will prove to be the “silver lining of the pandemic.”

Quinoa is grown all over now but 20 years ago it was almost unknown. USAID, working with countries in the Andean region, helped develop and popularize the nutritious grain, thereby raising living standards and reducing food insecurity. It’s just one example of what we’ve lost.

Accidently caught @nbcnews.com Nightly News coverage of Musk/Trump attempt to end court's power AND spend a small fortune to deport people without trial to El Salvador prison camp: entire segment was quoting 6 Trump officials. They meekly mentioned how court was mad, but gave no context at all.
Musk/Trump will focus on the details of the worst person they can fine, but (1) deporting any person without hearing means they can deport any person without hearing, and that will include undocumented, legal, green-card immigrants, but also naturalized citizens & eventually natural-born citizens
My sense is that the administration has been looking for the optimal case in which to pull an Andrew Jackson — they may think this is it.

This is a coup! U.S. Institute for Peace called the DC police on the Musk team members in an effort to stop them from trespassing because the institute has control of its own building and the land it sits on. But instead, the DC police allowed them to enter and kicked out the institute’s officials.

This is a result of wellness quacks like RFK Jr. who demonize conditions like autism and ADHD.

1️⃣ hyperbaric chambers are for serious specific issues, not ADHD, and should never be used without a medical doctor.
2️⃣ ADHD concerns can be managed, it is never worth experimenting on your child.
A 5-yr-old burned to death in a sealed glass coffin of pressurized oxygen that an “alternative medicine” wellness center claimed could treat his ADHD. This was a cash business providing unapproved therapies. There is no evidence to support hyperbaric for ADHD; there’s not even a plausible mechanism.
A 5-year-old's death in a Michigan hyperbaric chamber has sparked calls for more oversight of unsupervised hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the wellness industry.

Elon Musk’s companies—Tesla and SpaceX—have received billions in government contracts and subsidies. Yet, this issue is largely ignored. Isn’t it time we started holding corporations accountable for the massive burden they place on taxpayers?

Why aren’t we looking into corporate welfare? In the United States, it costs taxpayers billions each year, with estimates ranging from $92 billion to $100 billion annually. Meanwhile, USAID costs only $40 billion. Hmmm… doesn’t add up.
