I believe in peer-reviewed science, ethics, respect, integrity, & accountability. Leaders should, too.

Common sense is an endangered trait — apparently so is the rule of law in the US.

Whisky media in a regrettably dry town.
Unalienable rights are fundamental human rights that are inherent and cannot be taken away, denied, or transferred by any government or individual.

So…I guess it was all a 248 year gaslighting attempt?

Same principle can be used for anyone with iPhones to report witnessing ICE abductions.

Driving Philly to Boston…half way there and have already seen over 25 law enforcement vehicles — including on the less traveled route

“It’s my policy that I am not subject to federal law” is a hell of a position to take
To be really clear: The reason members of Congress can't just walk right in is because of the guns. Armed DHS personnel won't allow entry. In other words, DHS is using armed force to *break* laws.

Democrats need to wrap their minds around that. Accept that the frog is boiled.

What is he going to do for June 15 when he has the military parading in DC….send them to No Kings rallies?

Even if Elon leaves Washington, he still leaves with our data and perhaps even backdoors to federal systems.

The thing is….he sorta fired everybody who would know if he put backdoors in…

@booker.senate.gov is now conducting the fifth longest speech on the Senate floor.

A speech against civil rights shouldn’t be the longest…

Some things, once harmed, never come back to health.
I understand that there are fires rapidly approaching a lot of us right now, & we’re all limited on attention span but fuck. The deep sea is as precious an ecosystem as the national parks, but we understand them much less. Mining them is as ruinous as mining a national park. I’m sick about this.
The White House is weighing an executive order that would fast-track permitting for deep-sea mining in international waters and let mining companies bypass a United Nations-backed review process, according to two sources with direct knowledge of the deliberations.

Here is my best guidance for action, rendered beautifully by the great John Lithgow. I first published these lessons more than eight years ago, in late 2016. They open the twenty chapters of "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century."

What fresh h*ll awaits us today, friends?

It’s Friday, so what does the administration want to attempt to hold the weekend news cycle with?

Wrong answers and ridiculous theories only…but then again who had texting attack plans on their bingo card last week?

The felon could randomly decide that Canadian Geese were a national threat, & anyone who has feed them needs to disappear…

No one is above the law, & everyone has a right to due process.

Also, how many armed & hooded people does it take to kidnap a student off the street?

Fear is the point.
If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

We should not fall into the “her emails” refrain but keep saying two things in as many ways as possible:

1. This is a criminal act and an inexcusable breach of security;

2. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

While thousands of veterans are getting fired by Yam Tits and Elon, they’re asking January 6 criminals to apply for jobs. They’re also offering home loans and grants to all those domestic terrorists.

This is by far the most anti-American administration ever.
