A 1995 ad for Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall, an action RPG for PCs by Cyberlore Studios

Cyberlore flexed their action RPG chops from their work on 1994's Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse (an adaptation of TSR's Al-Qadim TTRPG) with a bug-filled quest set in SSI's mechamagic World of Aden setting.
"Guaranteed to make your skin crawl. Play Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall and you'll never be the same..." The ad shows a few screenshots (and a lot of bugs) along with the box that the CD-ROM game came in. It boasts "grisly combat" and "mind-bending puzzles" when you find yourself trapped in the land of Kyan where its inhabitants are currently suffering from a plague that is slowly turning them into insects. Including yourself! Years later, the game was preserved on GOG.com allowing everyone to experience what was the last entry in SSI's short-lived, and hoped-for franchise.

A 1991 ad for Death Knights of Krynn, an RPG for PCs by SSI based on TSR's AD&D and the second chapter in a series set in the TTRPG world of Dragonlance

The fierce, nighmarish backdrop depicting a charge of undead knights is from a piece called "Lord Soth's Charge" by artist, Keith Parkinson.
The ad shows off two screenshots (one of which shows the menacing helmed visage of Lord Soth) beneath the charging hooves that dominate the upper half of the ad. The text at the top proclaims "DEATH KNIGHTS OF KRYNN, The incredible sequel to Champions of Krynn!" and below that, states "Lord Soth has thrown down the gauntlet of challenge!" in an all new adventure where a new threat casts a shadow over the temporary peace won in the last game (Champions of Krynn).
