Having waited many times for the Letterkenny to Dublin bus and sometimes not been able to get on it, I have some measure of sympathy for him...

I had to remind myself of exactly that this morning, especially because my touchscreen gloves are new so my first reaction was just 'well these were a waste of money'...

One author I met at a con the other week had copies of their books open at the front page with 'please pick up and read' written on them. I loved this because it gave me a chance to check if their writing was for me (it was) without feeling weird about flicking through the pages.

Wish I'd bloody known that when I lived in Whitstable as a student - very hard water, and loads of oyster shells around!

We're having to do our full moon swim before moonset/sunrise on Thursday morning, because the weather's too bloody awful for tomorrow night. Hope yours is better.
