Lots of big waves this morning - mostly fun apart from getting whacked in the face a lot. But getting dressed after in the wind and rain was not enjoyable.

My plan to get the special Waterstones edition of Hemlock & Silver by @tkingfisher.com was thwarted by them being sold out, but I did get the anniversary copy of The Hollow Places with the spredges...

We are brewing up a lot for this year's Octocon! We might only be doing 1 day in-person in Dublin, but we're planning a busy 2 days online and would love to have old friends and new join us from all over the world. octocon.com

I was on the opposite platform to you (maybe at the same time) and there was one poor pigeon with such a bad foot that I said sorry to it aloud and got some confused stares from other passengers.

Inspired by @aliettedebodard.com I too have made banana muffins to @stephanieburgis.bsky.social's recipe (though with chocolate chips not sultanas) and they are oh so very delicious.

Finally getting a daycent fry on my way home from Belfast. The hash brown is the same as the ones I used to get from the filling station on the way to work, so I am satisfying my flavour nostalgia as well as my cravings for potato bread and soda farls.
