For the last 20+ years, this 200y/o Georgian house has had ALL its grass cut regularly. Since moving in at the end of March, I’ve now chosen my paths & have started the long journey of turning this 1 acre plot into a haven for #wildlife. Here’s to a #NoMowSummer 💚

We are have updated our research into which garden plants attract the most pollinators. Our original research included 5 years of data. We then moved house so this is now 9 years of data over 2 different locations.

88m of native hedgerow went in on Saturday. Super turnout of ours and @egra volunteers with big thanks for support from Royal Greenwich council officers and councillors. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

Greenwich Council has started a consultation on “sustainable streets” and controlled parking zones in six areas.

Residents in Charlton, Kidbrooke and Blackheath, Plumstead, Shooters Hill, West Thamesmead and Woolwich are being asked about what they think about traffic and parking.

Greenwich Council is to pay an extra £11m to finish a home-building projects after a sub-contractor went bust - with flats in Plumstead seemingly shelved to free up the funds.

However, the council has deleted all reference to the deal and declined to answer questions.
