On that note, I urge anyone trying to get pregnant to get tested for clotting disorders, even if you have to pay out of pocket, and especially if you are over 35. Something like 20% of people have clotting disorders, and most don’t know it until something bad happens. Don’t wait for that.

This reminds me of that Douglas Adams bit where there's a calculator that also has a built in I Ching, and if the result of any math operation is greater than 4 it just prints "a suffusion of yellow" as the answer instead.
