Adding to the joke about things Europeans just find odd/don't understand about the US.
I just drove to visit family for the week. The drive home, with pitstops, took 19 hours. I had to fill my gas tank 3 times including once at a gas station with over 80 pumps.

Will I post here much? Maybe, maybe not. For now my Xitter account is still active until I find replacements for the things I follow over there that are useful but I am finding those replacements gradually. The exodus to bluesky is greatly helping that.
