- That was the best nine the Mets have offensively, and they just can't get the big hit

- That was the best nine the Mets have offensively, and they just can't get the big hit
- The Soto discourse is already tiresome

Imagine doubting David Stearns.
You start to see the David Stearns vision pretty easily when Luisangel Acuna is wreaking havoc on the basepaths and Jose Siri is hitting nukes.
Yeah, it's spring training, but it's good to see stuff like that from guys lower in the pecking order at this time of year

Yeah, this does feel a little spoiled child take after the #Mets signed Juan Soto.
It just feels like they still have too many ? on their roster for a team that was two wins away from the WS last year.

Not calling that timeout after hitting the first play wasted their ability to have two more plays at the end. Just awful clock management.

"Serious gap" between Alonso and the #Mets really just means that the Mets have played this market perfectly and Pete doesn't want to take a deal that's less than the extension they offer previously.
