Mets are indeed hiring Leiper as their 3B coach. @joelsherman.bsky.social had the hiring first.
One name to look out for in the Mets' coaching search: Padres third-base and infield coach Tim Leiper. Mets have interviewed Leiper for a position, according to industry sources.
