The theory that people will somehow behave less abusively (or even that the abuse is easier to mitigate and prevent) if they are forced to verify their identity and "personhood credentials" is magical thinking. It does not fucking work.

Yeah!! grabbing focus will now be much more customizable. I was alerted to the good news when i made an issue begging for this and they closed it as the functionality had been merged into 4.6 the very same day 😌
