I believe prison mail can be processed in different locations than the sender's prison because they do security checks. The question is where New York City federal prison mail went to be processed. It would take some time for that ... 3 days?

No but typically you'd be comparing two pieces of handwriting who had no idea their notes would ever be compared to prove their authorship, so they'd "match" - if they were by the same person.
But no, you can't "prove" handwriting is by two different people.

You cannot _prove_ handwriting was made from a different person. A person can change his handwriting with little difficulty.
In this case, the signature doesn't match other public documents. And it's "J. Epstein," a very weird way to sign a personal note.

On the Larry Nassar letter from Epstein. FBI did request handwriting analysis of it suggesting they were not convinced it was actually from Epstein.
That is in the files I believe. But what is NOT available (as far as I have seen as I post this) is what the analysis found.

We’re a little late to this, but we just saw MAGA melting down over a post claiming Mamdani is teaching “Arabic numerals” in public schools. We had to laugh do they not realize those are the numbers we use every single day? You really can’t make this stuff up.
