That is right. In the 1950’s and early 1960’s the standard rate of income tax was 60%! High earners paid 90% on the top portion of their income. This funded education, research and development, infrastructure, healthcare. Today the richer you are the less tax you pay

Yay! But I'm not renewing Disney+ & Hulu - not for a while. We'll see how they behave over the coming months as we slide deeper into this fascist authoritarianism. They don't get a pass for EVENTUALLY doing the right thing.

As someone who processes Medicaid, snap and ta claims, I can assure you we Sadly put applicants thru a thorough process of work reqs, verification of citizenship,ssn, id, resources and income. We even have to asking they have burial plans/plots. There's NO fraud.
