My youngest son has become my gig buddy (we went to the Green Day Wembley gig). It's something I treasure & I hope we can keep going even when he's an adult. I think it's incredible that they have a whole library full of music at their fingertips, he's introduced me to songs that had passed me by!

I read a slightly different version of that sentence whilst I was making my decision on how to navigate what was increasingly becoming an untenable situation, everything clarified in my mind instantly. I'm just so fortunate I had an 'out' into a team that I already partially worked with.

100% I've just moved teams (well moved fully to a team I previously did 50% of my role for) because I realised that you can't want something for a team that they don't want for themselves.
