if there are hooded crows that are black or very dark grey, except for the throat & back of the head then yes! it definitely could have been!

ok i think i'm starting to get the hang of watercolours. with the help of the Wee Book of Colouring, which i got specifically for practicing my painting 😌

dear whoever lovingly made this sickly sweet cross stitch sampler for their mum,

i'm sorry the charity shop gave it away for a mere £2.95 & labelled it as a "frame" as if it were empty. i want you to know i bought it for your handiwork, which will go great with my grandmacore stuff 💗

making colouring easier on my hands by blocking stuff out with markers & then only adding pencils for contrast & detail, rather than using the pencils for the entire thing

i'm no expert, but the way i hurt it, the swelling, bruising location & inability to squish my toes together all sound to me like a plantar plate tear. which won't show up on an x-ray afaik 🤷

well that seems fine! except the more the swelling goes down, the more the bruising reveals a lumpy white string curled up in the middle that i'm concerned could be a torn ligament.

there's only one thing for it, foot's gonna have to come off. above the knee i think
Guppy's foot as seen from above. The swelling is now hardly noticeable, and purple bruising has appeared at the base of the first two toes.

see, it's fine! you can hardly even tell which foot had an accident. it'll be ok as long as i don't plan on wearing shoes for a while

[chemo] it's a latex balloon filled with fluid, inside a plastic bottle. the lines & valves & filters are all plastic. there's no electronic pump or metal involved. the balloon gradually deflates & the pressure forces the fluid through over the course of 46 hours. it's a simple yet clever device.

A fully completed miniature wooden accordion, from a craft kit by Rolife. It's small enough to fit in Guppy's hand, and is painted brown with gold accents. Accordion from a slightly different angle.
