went to my first day at a new job only to be told the manager that was supposed to train me "doesn't want to". I can learn a lot solo, but not multiple systems I was told REQUIRED hands on training first and def not without the tools to even fully access them.

Netflix DMC wasn't great. The longer I sit with it after finishing the more I dislike a majority of the direction and choices. Never thought I'd say it but I think DmC did a political take on the series better (low bar)

I was bored & made little bookmarks at work today for customers to take if they felt inclined and it got such a great response. I might start doing it often with themes and book recs on the back. Made my entire day fr I didn't expect it to be such a hit 🥹

at the pacific daily news when it was owned by gannett, i was working on an investigation into labor fraud. the company threatened a lawsuit, i went back to my editors and they killed it. my story ended up being true
