Before we got started in game dev, we both thought save games were just... like... some sort of snapshot of the game state? Like maybe there was a standard way to do this? Apparently, for every game you kinda just make up the save/load structure as you go.

Already working on adding some suggested features to Desktop Legends. Coming soon: clicking the hero will make him attack immediately instead of having to wait for his auto-attack cooldown.

The Bestiary is shaping up for our game! Here you can see the Goblin's stats as it levels up. Goblins don't give many coins, but they're easy for the hero to kill quickly.

So, just gonna say, I kinda hate working on UI. Hate the art part of it, hate making it work in engine when things inevitably refuse to line up. But the finished product is so worth the struggle! Here's a tease of our menu which looks like a tome with bookmarks and wax seals.
