I personally don’t celebrate gun wielding assassins in broad daylight under any circumstances.

That being said: United HealthCare absolutely did try to kill me by trying to cut my chemotherapy dosage and I had to get my senator to intervene and it was one of the most traumatic weeks of my life.

More AOC discourse, anyone?

One of the red flags that we received from our allies in LatAm was on social media and disinfo campaigns affecting the population.

We’re only now beginning to understand this issue without resorting to a default of blaming Russia.

In its first week on the platform & with 300k followers, Bluesky traffic from @theguardian.com posts is already higher than it was from TwX in any week in 2024, where the account had 10.8m followers, but🧵

If you count audio books, I've read about 30-40 books this year. If you don't its like 5. Almost all those audio books were warhammer 40k novels so probably don't count but not because audiobooks aren't books.
Audiobooks count as reading.

Shame on the California Academy of Sciences for cutting the youth program because the kids passed out flyers supporting the Museum Workers' Union, who have been without a contract since unionizing last year.

There was a student walkout for Palestine today at McGill and about ⅔ of my students didn’t show up for class.

The ⅓ that did show up did so because they thought it would be weird to have a walkout if you didn’t actually walk out of class.

The kids are alright 🇵🇸

The Indiana Democrats are incompetent because to succeed would require them to put their self interests to the side. Half of what they must do is just covering each other's asses for the evil shit they do and the money they take
