A way to think about "AI" is that it's like single-use plastic: Super-convenient, sold as disposable, designed to be used without much thought, and while it's easy to get annoyed with your mom for using it, the real problem are the dudes destroying the planet in order to keep shoveling it out

My own reasons for not drinking alcohol are pretty simple:
a) REALLY bad family history with the stuff;
b) I don't like not being in control of my own self;
c) I'm 54 now and don't need the extra empty calories.
Mind you, there doesn't have to be a reason not to drink it. One can just not.

I am wondering if there might be a reason to be louder about the fact I'm in most respects normie but don't (basically can't) drink alcohol or very very little.
I mostly feel embarrassed mentioning it.
It's not religious or a principles. It just hurts me more than it hurts most people.
