@radiofreetom.bsky.social you and I probably disagree on most public policy but I respect the hell out of you because you have integrity and principles. That said, a lot of rural America is destitute. They’re not bored, they’re ignored, and they just burned the whole house down as a result.
That's right, because decadence and hedonic adaptation and boredom are artifacts of high living standards in multiple nations and not just the USA.
Not to mention, incumbents lost in all rich democracies, both left-wing and right -wing.
