It’s not a nom de plume, it’s a lifestyle. For ease of reading if you're confused about what my tone is just assume sarcasm.
The only surprising part is how the rustys spin this as a positive.

Spent two hours arguing on the phone with the ATO about documentation I sent them that they can’t find, despite them emailing me to tell me the documentation had arrived last week and was processed.

Aside from that it was shit.

Okay I'm done, I'm going bush. Let me know when civilisation has finished collapsing in on itself in a cloud of AI hallucinations.
November 19, 2025 at 4:18 AM
No because they were guilty of most of that before the 2024 election and nothing, nata, crickets.

Have the Democrats showed in any way shape or form that they are planning on doing anything more than just going back to SOP if they win office again?

They didn't threaten to use a wood chipper so it's okay.

Now they've banned Patton Oswalt for this pattonoswalt.bsky.social

I remember Dad giving me my first stubby of XXXX at the ripe old age of 10. He would have been well into his slab by then so it was actually quite generous of him.

Then he gave me a fiver and told me to ride my Malvern Star up to the servo to get Mum a packet of Alpine Menthols.

Ah memories.

Albo is desperate to have Labor seen as the "Better Economic Managers" and he doesn't give two shits who gets hurt in the process. So he's grabbed neoliberalism by the horns and is riding that sucker to the bitter end.

Not to worry, AI companies have shown over and over again they are bastions of integrity and would never use such information in any sort of nefarious way.
November 18, 2025 at 4:44 AM
They played the Drovers Dog gambit?
November 17, 2025 at 11:24 PM
He is doing exactly what he wants to do. Australians need to put aside this belief that Albo and the federal Labor government support us over big business. They have done nothing in the last 3.5 years to support that belief.
November 17, 2025 at 8:05 AM
I reckon if a giant malformed salmon Kaiju rose out of Esperance Bay and laid waste to the mainland Albo would immediately introduce legislation legalising monster rampages and then find funding for a “Genetic Monstrosities aren’t all bad” advertising campaign.

It's a world first mainly because everyone else who tried to do it died.
November 16, 2025 at 12:53 AM
They're hoping for some of that Netanyahu influencer funding.

They're constantly on the lookout for the next soul selling opportunity.
November 16, 2025 at 12:39 AM
Doesn't look obviously directed at her to me. She's talking about a guy who liked to rape 15yos, especially if they look a lot younger, and apparently she's okay with that.

Now maybe he's directing it at the woman who is fine with child rape or maybe he's directing it at the guy who did the raping.

The only difference between the LibNats and Labor is the LibNats will tell you right to your face that they don't give a shit about action on climate change.

My Health Record (part of My Gov) has this information, there’s even an app (of course there is) but it’s voluntary, you have to agree to allow it access to your data, and as far as I know it’s not retroactive.
November 12, 2025 at 12:58 PM
Over 20 years ago I was doing hardware support for a surgery so their new patient software would work. Apparently the software company had to jump through a lot of security hoops just to handle the data for that one surgery.

Getting data access will be your biggest hurdle.

She even explained the results from an MRI my wife had 2 years ago, something the neurologist and GPs were somehow unable to do.

Apparently you have to find the right doctor to be informed about exactly what the fuck is going on.
November 12, 2025 at 11:47 AM
And it should be easy, they all have IT access, they should be able to pull up patient records because it’s all recorded digitally, the data is there.

Having said that my wife saw a psychiatrist this week and this particular doctor had access to everything.
November 12, 2025 at 11:45 AM
I am constantly amazed how unconnected our medical system is. The amount of times I’ve had to go through my wife’s medications and medical history for a new doctor is staggering… and quite frankly exhausting.

Hate to see what he considers to be a large vehicle.

Isn't that the road signposted as not allowing trailers/caravans and large vehicles?
