Largely as predicted by Thornley but Paddy McCarthy starts: what a season he's having. Hansen at full back will be interesting to see. Hope Timoney and Cian get some decent time off the bench.

But I do think there were a lot of positives for Wales to take from that game despite the defeat.
And hopefully Jac Morgan's injury isn't as bad as it looked as he's definitely the heartbeat of that team!

Looking back on both the Ireland game & the Ireland A games yesterday, its interesting to see that Japan are only 1 place above Spain in the world rankings, so different were the performances 🤔👀
(Also Spain seem to have made really good progress which is excellent 😊)

My 1 experience of rugby in France -
me & my wee sister went to the 07 RWC in Paris.
We spent 8 nights there & still didn't see the Eiffel tower 🫣
We literally drank & watched rugby the whole time!
Ireland got hammered, but we had the best trip ever 😅

I LOVE French rugby, but I think the SA are going to smash this - they're by far the best team in the world.
The French to me, & without injuries are probably 2nd but they're still unpredictable.
Plus all that emotion for Siya.

I actually enjoyed that Ireland A v Spain game - more than that drivel earlier v Japan!
Ireland's line out has been awful, 100% in the A game.
Excellent showing (& 4 tries) from the Ulster lads!
1 week together & they actually played like a team.
& Harry Byrne was superb!
Fun atmosphere too.

He was so poorly with his kidney stones & surgeries, but the EA refused home tuition until the last week in June 🤦
Now he's still pretty unwell but also has no suitable school to go to 😥
& Still they offer nothing.
