Its incredible the hate against BioWare.

Ok, you could dont like his games, that is OK; but the amount of bullshit agains the studio is stupid.

Now the "rumor" of griffters about the studio being shutdown is other bullshit news.

Welcome to GEngine: my own 3D software rasterizer written on pure C.

For now im implementing some basic stuff, and really have a simple game loop with a 32 bit framebuffer and a big yellow rectangle.
Im still a lot of work to do, but lets go have fun.

Will be a fun learning process.

"The vkCreateInstance allocates about 400 MB of memory, but ONLY if my executable is named 'Mosaic'. If I rename it to something else (either in File Explorer or as the target name in Visual Studio), the allocation drops to only 35 MB."

LMAO

A big hug for all those of us, gamedevs who were fired on this month, just before Christmas and New year.
Sometimes this industry could be so hard to survive.

Welp, wtf is going on with the CPU performance in this game #SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeGame

Even a i9-13900hx is not good enough for a consistent CPU-performance?!?.

Someday i will talk about how longly random is the Apple certification process.

Really, is totally fucked up how random is; a same build one day could be approved and other day rejected because... Apple things.

One of the best things to be working con PC games again, is this.

Business on mobile gaming is completely fucked up, is not fun play something between "pay to win" or "you cant play one level without 3 minutes of ads".
My other popular opinion is that in-app purchases fucked mobile gaming.

Yes, there are exceptions; I know them. But the whole “our game gets unplayable after a point unless you buy coins” thing just means that games are no longer fun and developers aren’t trying to balance playability any longer.

#DragonAgeVeilguard have a weird bug on PC and performance drop but some reason until reboot.t

For example im playing at 60FPS constant, but i change the area (Treviso to Arlathan Forest as example) and the FPS drop to 15-30 until i reboot the game and is running at 60 FPS again.

Its.. weird?.

Pro-tip para los que desarrollamos con notebook: en vez de gastar dinero comprando de esas bases refrigerantes; levantar el notebook un par de cms -yo uso la caja del smartwatch como soporte-.

Gratis y las temperaturas bajan bastante.

Something good about blue sky? the similiar UI with Twitter.

My favourite thing about #gamedev?
Work team: is amazing how the product is the result of the synergy combined of the all development team.
