Leaving Nassau at night. Lighting up an otherwise dark abyss. Happy ocean, happy Kate.

"If a woman doesn't look woman enough to a Republican, they want to be able to inspect your genitals to use a bathroom? It's disgusting.

Everyone should reject it completely... they're endangering women, they're endangering girls of all kind, and everyone should reject it. It's gross." - AOC

Love to ban trans women from capitol restrooms in order to “protect women and girls” while suppressing a report about the incoming attorney general paying for the statutory rape of a minor while in congress and showing women’s nudes on the House floor

I love adding birds to my life list in Merlin. It's fun to find a bird you know you've seen before but never clicked the button for.

The first known use of singular “they” is so old that not only does it pre-date singular “you,” it wasn’t even spelled with a “th”

When William and the Werewolf, in 1375 CE, used singular “they,” it was spelled with a Thorn

Do you think starlings are aware at how creepy they can be? All lined up menacingly on the edge of a roof?

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”

The Merlin App has a robin as my bird of the day.

When Dad and I went to South Dakota I asked him to get us a bird guide so we could identify all the weird birds we'd see. We were so excited to see some birds fly down in front of us the first day. What would they be!!!

Robins

Happy Robin Day.

Came home to an empty feeder. There's a sparrow that hangs out on it to stay out of the wind. It's cute.

Just sparrows, blue jays and cardinals today nothing too exciting.

I swapped out my bird food for something called Eastern Blend from walfarts and now I have BlueJays eating at my feeder.

Good thing or Bad thing?
