We strongly advise the public not to do this, it’s unsafe. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted photos of himself and his grandkids swimming in Rock Creek, a Washington waterway so contaminated with sewage runoff that swimming has been banned citywide for over 50 years.

As an autistic person, sometimes reading books with really good autistic characters is kinda difficult because I feel PERCEIVED, and that is not a common experience for me.

This is the answer. During his election campaigns, when he would say that other countries will “respect” America again, this is what he meant by respect. And this is why his voters are the worst parents in your kid’s school, or the parent who yells at the ref at a kids’ soccer game.
The goal is simply to exert power and dominance. To browbeat you into submission. To come begging him to take them away.
Something that keeps coming up with US/Canada/European trade discussions is that no one can actually state what the goals of these tariffs are, and as a result, the vast majority of trade partners are assuming the tariffs are on for the long haul.

Of…of course they are. Was this in doubt? Did anyone think that isn’t what’s happening? They would do and use anything to further their own ends.
Attn: Trump stated, “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO GET RICH, RICHER THAN EVER BEFORE!!!” Many have interpreted this as an indication that he or his allies are using knowledge of tariffs for personal financial gain. This raises serious concerns about insider trading and market manipulation.

I read too much dense nonfiction and burned out the book reading part of my brain, and it massively impacted on my ability to read for pleasure, but do you know what immediately fixed that and led to my current 2-5 book a week reading spree? Reading old middle grade and YA novels I loved as a kid.
