But she has infinite stamina...

Yep. If it's efficiency of a city's transport network, then no matter the power source, cars suck

Yeah, Anthony Cornelius published an interesting graphic of storm intensity which shows the track the worst cell followed. We are in the purple area

Jindalee. We had some cracking damage around.

Doozy of a thunderstorm last night. Result is the kids school is closed because of extensive damage and no power. Reckon in analysis they'll find a microburst occurred in this supercell. The extent of trees down is incredible. We luckily avoided damage.

Tot siens, Amsterdam.
See ya soon, Brisbane.

I'm in love with Dutch roundabouts. So much so i went around this one twice. I'd love to see more of these in Brisbane. Well... one would be a start.

Thanks for the opportunity, Madame Tussauds Amsterdam.

Normally I'd be really reluctant to try and carry a tray of coffees or a pizza and cycle one handed. But in Amsterdam, with a comfortable upright bike and safe, smooth infrastructure with minimal bumps and stopping/starting, it's easy even for a low skill rider like me.

TFW you use a shared bike for your first ride in the Netherlands, vs TFW you can't return it to where you picked it up so have a long walk home

Peak morning commute time near Heidelberg train station. This is a functional city at work.

Heidelberg shared bikes = 🥳

Munich's an incredible bicycle city. Had to get to Allianz Arena for a stadium tour. 13km away. Borrowed bicycles. We did not have to ride on a road with cars at all. Bikes, bikes everywhere!

There wasn't that much separated infrastructure other than along the river. But lots of painted lanes drivers respected, and filtered permeability everywhere with good signage. I couldn't read the place names well, but never got lost.

I think Salzburg was my favourite place to ride on this trip so far. And bicycles are clearly a preferred way for locals to travel. I saw many older people pootling about to the shops, mums and dads with cargo bikes and kids seats.
