Wow. This conservative party survey is....so "fair and balanced." I thought it was a joke. What a HORRIBLE IDEA it would be for people to flood their results with answers they're NOT looking for!

Exactly! Has he let us down? Yes, water to the FN and representational voting, but other than that he's just a politician, not a wannabe orangeanus with a side of muskmelon
But everybody hates him.

No, you're being told everybody hates him by people being paid to tell you that everybody hates him.

Good summary of the responsibilities of different levels of government.

The problem is that the premiers want you to think that everything that is going wrong is Trudeau's fault. And most voters simply accept that without pushing back.

The feds are a convenient punching bag for provincial woes.

Hmm. TFG's tweet is in full sentences. Obviously not actually written by him.
This will mean higher gas prices, higher alcohol prices, higher food prices, higher building prices, higher car prices, higher pharmaceutical prices, etc. Trump is about to teach Americans who *actually* pays for tariffs (the consumers do).

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Dr. Wesley so succinctly describes the populism of Alberta’s UCP government here. Hands down the best explainer of what is at stake here (and perhaps elsewhere too), even if it did make my blood run cold.

This is a real thing. It's a bit of a hassle for retail establishments and their bookkeepers, and it'll probably cause some problems down the road for the CRA, but it's a solid gesture
“Canada has one of the strongest balance sheets in the world, the lowest deficit in the G7 and the lowest debt-to-GDP ratio in the G7. We have a strong fiscal position and we are putting it to work with a tax break for all Canadians.”
GST to be suspended on beer, wine, restaurant meals, diapers, kids' clothes, toys, books & more
The federal government will implement two-month GST holiday on everyday essentials and retail items for Canadians from Dec. 14 to Feb. 15.
