"Meeting with JD Vance so disheartening, Pope literally dies"

Do you think it becomes easier or harder to work at @theonion.com when the headlines write themselves?

Let it be known that I just had an interaction with an AI Chatbot that was actually helpful. The future is now!

As a certain ~date~ given by a certain ~corporation~ approaches, after which users will no longer be able to download their ebooks...

We're DRM-free, meaning you actually own your audiobooks. You can download the files whenever, & listen to them wherever.

I know, I know...not ebooks. But still 😉

People saying Musk is in charge but my gut says he's a pawn.

"DC outsider techie" status allows him to slash & burn with insane speed.

After the inevitable split The Other Fucking Guy gets to be like "I fired him, he did bad things that can't be undone". By design, Musk gets the blame, TOFG wins.

is it good or bad that a billionaire oligarch with close ties to foreign dictators is currently downloading the most sensitive information the us federal government has about its citizens to his own private servers?

south korean politicians were literally scaling fences to protect their government and our senators are sending out pre-scheduled tweets about the super bowl while an unelected foreign billionaire seizes control of the treasury.

When will Republicans realize that if enough of them band together they have an opportunity to be seen as saviors, not as traitors?

AP Econ test in HS came with the Macro test for free, so I decided to wing it. (A chance at free college credits?! Hell yeah!)

I learned REAL quick I had no idea what I was doing & literally drew a pirate ship on the essay portion.

Anyway, maybe this is like that except how billionaires wing it.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

I’m sad to learn that my law school classmate, Kiah Duggins, died in the DC plane crash last night.

Kiah was an exceptionally talented civil rights lawyer and aspiring legal scholar.

I hope you’ll read about her work and the causes she cared about, some of which I’ll 🧵 below.

What an immense loss

House GOP members are figuring out which of Trump's promised tax cuts to propose into law and how to pay for them. Among their targets: slashing benefits for single mothers and the poor who rely on government health care.
