Frankly astonishing explosion in Ace Combat 7 here. Btw I struggled through this game and finished it last night using the standard control scheme only to find out today that the expert controls are almost unanimously considered the proper way to play

Finished Ivalice Chronicles. Still think it gets 3x more engrossing when the Lucavi show up & is best when it leans into horror. The fight against a certain zombified character was the highlight for me. Also the VA puts it above WOTL imo. Lots of line reads that put the CHARACTER in NPC (↓spoilers?)

Jet Force Gemini is kind of a one-trick pony but its one trick is having chaotic ant shootouts with great audiovisual feedback. (There's ant gore in this clip)

Not to downplay Shloc's brilliant localisation but Ni no Kuni's dub was handled by Side UK (of Clair Obscur and Dragon Quest XI fame) and they really help the script sing. It's a very minor thing but Esther's intonation on "I think we do" here is so sincere
