Yesterday was graduation day. So many of them has had huge mountains to overcome and I’m so so proud to see them walk across the stage. It’s been such an honour to be their counselor for the past 2 years.

In my work, it’s often hard to know if I’m making significant positive impact. And my cohort of seniors this year have weathered some deeply challenging things, but I’m so so proud of every single one of them.
And occasionally I do get glimpses that I’m on the right track ♥️

This is an excellent adaptation of the Duluth model. I often encountered students who struggle in their relationships where many of these elements were present. You don’t have to wait until there is actual physical violence to recognise an unhealthy dynamic.
