With today's regular City Council meeting cancelled due to a strike, I will be standing in solidarity with union workers and not crossing the picket line.

Last night, the Protect Portland Initiative and @councilorkanal.bsky.social's Sanctuary City ordinance passed unanimously at City Council.

I am so thankful to my Council colleagues, our administration, and the many community groups and community members who have come to the table around this work.

Right now, Council is discussing a replacement for our Parks Levy. The current levy is set to expire next year, and we’ll be asking you in November to pass a new levy so we can continue to fund our parks. (1/5)

Today, Portland City Council announced the policy committee meeting schedule. Committees meet on the second and fourth weeks of each month on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
