System certainly matters, but don’t let the lack of perfection in a system get in the way of having a good time role playing anyway. My case in point is always the adventure “Film at Eleven” that Greg Poehlein and I did for Gary Gygax’s Cyborg Commandos RPG.

This is choice stuff, Ryan! Best with the KS! I’ve backed quite a few but never quite had the courage (and the right project) to launch my own. But this is a worthy one if ever I’ve seen one.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this one! Passed it on to my FB friends, too. For almost all of them, this is bound to be a winner!

So true! Put my Barbara on the phone with a hospital or insurance company and I get chills! I shall fear no evil for Thou gave me the strongest woman I know.

By all means. No one tells the ongoing story of Marvel’s Gambit & Rogue like Gail Simone. She’s done the same with underserved DC characters like Black Canary, Catman, Bane, Batgirl & Mad Hatter — making them central to some of the greatest comic storytelling you will ever find.

So - no kidding - thank you, Gail. You manage to break through the defenses of this crusty old 71 year old comic fan veteran in a way that continues to surprise me. You are one of my all-time favorite storytellers. What you do matters more than you know to all of us!

So my PT nurse walks in just when I’m fighting back tears & I have to explain that no, I’m not in pain - I’m just feeling a little guilty & feeling sorry for myself & was triggered by a new story by one my favorite authors & explaining just makes me cry more…
Aw, see what you made me do?
