This is a story of how power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, and the only way we will get to the bottom of it is if we leave our partisanship at the door.

There needs to be massive investigations into all three of these aspects, and not limited to the US either. Preferably public hearings and reports to make sure nothing gets swept under the carpet.

All of these happening at a global level, involving billions of dollars, and a lot of filthy rich and/or extremely powerful men from different political stripes and nationalities.

2: International influence peddling, spy operations, and the manipulation of political decision at a global scale, often involving Israeli and Russian meddling.

1: The pedophilia, the sex trafficking and rape of underaged girls. Just girls? Or boys as well?.

Yes. I am not loyal to one brand when it comes to mustard. I love Colman’s Hot English mustard, and Maille’s Dijon, and I’m always willing to give any interesting looking craft mustard a go!

I keep meaning to try Kewpie, and I haven’t gotten round to it yet. My efforts at homemade mayo has never given me a satisfactory result. 😣

They can live on Hellman’s and Heinz for all I care! They’re not invited to my braai!

Where in Canada are you?

Touché on the photo - the best chutneys and jams are the home made ones. What is the base ingredient of those?

They don’t like Jews. They are fine with Jews in Israel, but nowhere else. They like the concept of Israel because the Bible tells them to, and because they believe the state of Israel is necessary for Armageddon, which is necessary for the second coming of Christ. (In a nutshell.)

I live in Canada, and the chutney and ketchup I can only get at South African shops. The mayonnaise I also get at a South African shop, but I think it might be available at a British shop as well.

I’m with you on 1 and infusing flavours, like aioli, just elevates it tenfold. (I did not have to look up aioli. I just copied the spelling from your post 😆😆)

Sorry, South African in the chat. I grew up on All Gold Tomato Sauce (which is what we call ketchup in South Africa), and Heinz can go and suck tomatoes. All Gold IS the gold standard, and this is a hill I am prepared to die on! Do you want to talk about mayonnaise next?

We’re always fed the trope that the private sector is so much more efficient, but it’s not. See for example, Boeing’s Dreamliner fiasco.

Oh damn! Yes, so many epic fails, and a spectacular example of too many cooks spoiling the broth! The point I was trying to make, though, was that these colossal failures are not unique to government.
