4/ Damp mopping of dusty surfaces (while wearing respiratory protection), improved central filtration, and portable right-sized HEPA air cleaners or (even better 😀) #CorsiRosenthalBox es can be highly effective at removing fungal spores from indoor air.

Two friends and ex-colleagues at UT Austin found an old student newspaper article and sent it to me. Everything pre-COVID seems like a lifetime ago. This image in the article was from 2005, before having to worry about my beard giving a poor seal on a respirator. Oh, to be 20 years younger again.

Spent an afternoon cleaning 31 very dirty solar photovoltaic panels that were caked with dirt, pollen, and bird feces.

Before and after for one panel shown below. Could even see the reflection of me waving in the clean panel!

When I met with my donkey buddy, Action Protege, today he leaned over to tell me a donkey joke.

What do you call two hours or interviews with donkeys?

Answer - A Donkumentary.

He thought it was funnier than I did.

Respond with additional donkey jokes.

She also added, “Wearing a high-quality mask such as an N95, KN95, or KF94 that fits well continues to provide strong protection.” (TRUTH)

As extra protection, I suggest a good filtration-based air cleaner in homes, office suites, & classrooms, e.g., a highly-effective CR Box. They work! (TRUTH)

Mark Conover and I entered Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt) the same year and were roommates during 1st-year orientation before our first quarter. Mark was an All-American cross country athlete & won the 1988 Olympic trials to represent the US in the marathon. Quiet, nice person.

Check out the USEPA's newest air cleaning allies activity book for children. DJ is definitely the coolest (and with additional filters in parallel - a more effective ally than Aerie).👇

Nine years ago today I had the pleasure to see music history in Kingston, ONT. It was a magical evening, a celebration, and even a little tearful at times.

Thanks to @thetragicallyhip.bsky.social for all of the amazing memories.

After many years of renting we are homeowners again. I got my dream backyard. It will be a lot of upkeep, but it has four nice fruit trees, a Japanese Pistachio basking in California sunshine, roses, room for a garden, and sufficient grass for a dog or two to enjoy with their humans.

1/ A couple of days ago I was walking back from lunch in the @ucdavis.bsky.social arboretum and came across a wonderful scene of a heron, egret, and second heron about 10 to 15 feet to the egret's right. Snapped this photo.
