I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

6 more hours of classes down. We got our citizenship application photos done today, will pick them up tomorrow. My aunt put my grandmas death certificate in the mail for me, once I get that I can apply for her birth certificate. (Snail mail from NL 😭) after all that I can mail it all to CA. 🤞🏻

Shout out to the creepy old white guy who followed me from the elevator in the hospital parking garage to ask if I’ve found my car. He asked multiple times and followed me closely for a bit. I got so spooked I called my aunt to have a witness bc the garage was EMPTY. Fucking weirdo.

A memo was released by ICE instructing agents to violate the U.S. Constitution. ICE told officers and agents that they can forcibly enter homes without warrants signed by judges. The memo was from ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons, was shared with Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn) by two whistleblowers.

And lastly some recent selfies. Things haven’t been too bad despite all the bad news going around. I do feel better post hysterectomy. Work has been going well. Calli is starting to watch 90s and 00s movies with me (Twister is her fave rn) and the cats are fat and happy. I’m starting to read more.

Because inadvisably high doses of ibuprofen combined with Tylenol didn’t do much at all. Pain so high I couldn’t focus on anything else all day at work. I wanted to crawl out of my skin for relief. couple puffs at home though? The pain is NUMB. Blessed relief. This plant is sacred.

¡LEGAL! weed is the only thing keeping me functioning right now. A lot of symptoms of something autoimmune showing up this last week and specifically the joint pain and stiffness has been worse than I’ve ever seen it.
