Isn't it more than twice at this point? Every election I can think of since 2016 Rs have won low propensity voters and Ds have won high propensity voters. That's why Ds have consistently outperformed in midterms and special elections while Rs have outperformed in general elections.

The outcry from journalists when posters say "you support Trump" or whatever is understandable. They don't, but in their industry the structures and incentives are such that the outcomes are indistinguishable from it.

VLS can launch bigger and and generally better missiles. But for sheer volume of fires and magazine depth carriers are hard to beat with 44 strike aircraft each with 11 hard points. Might be controversial but I'd view what's currently happening more as a rebalancing between surface and air ASuW

okay one more thing, if the filibuster was so critical to the interest of small states, why is it that it didn't exist until the middle of the 19th century and wasn't actually used with any regularity until well into the 20th?

Every article saying "Yes, the Trump admin should conduct regime change if they commit to x, y, and z" knowing full well the admin will do none of those. Trump is consistently scared of starting a war. Strike someone who can't do anything back? Sure. Commit to a sustained effort? Hell no.
