Advance 2 is a phenomenal time. I recall first hearing about the decomp back on Sonic Retro.

Earlier today, I released an update to Jumpin' Jungle, a SMBX2 level I made earlier this year. This update reduces the difficulty a bit by adding some additional checkpoints and power-ups.

god I hope funko (as well as the registrar and "Brand Shield") get what is coming to them. taking down a store of mostly indie games, essentially cutting off a bunch of people's income stream. truly awful behaviour.
I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

Video games are just such a bizarre medium to me because you can actively dig into the games and find ideas that just didn't pan out and went unused.
It's pretty different from say a film or a form of literature, where the creators usually have to share such ideas. They're not in the work itself.

The Raving Rabbids 2 Wii manual has quite a few fun oddities. Another fun bit is that the manual uses screenshots of an earlier build's main menu on Page 5, containing some debugging cheat codes that don't work at all in the final build!
