As far as I can tell he got the different regional Earth warming and plankton bits right (the latter was removed entirely in a later revision of the article).

It's a shame. Mann(?) had made a video debunking several claims in an article talking about NTHE that helped calm me down some. As far as I could tell, the claims he made were accurate?

Said article did introduce me to your work which is great though, which is why I followed!

I _feel_ like I've seen that game once or twice while browsing Wikipedia, but never paid it much mind.

This + Sonic Advance 2 SP's changes + a nerfed Sky Canyon boss would easily become my definitive version of the game!

...And when I said 'original post', I was referring to the 'Seal' program shared earlier. Not what Anthony had mentioned. My error!

The only other thing I neglected to mention was that the program also requires ffmpeg for the best possible quality video or for audio extraction, but it's not explicitly required.

If you're unfamiliar with how to set up the path to it, putting it in the same directory as yt-dlp works fine!

Assuming you're using your PC, I'd highly recommend yt-dlp. You can grab it from Github:

A quick rundown of what you'd need to do:
- Extract the latest release.
- Type 'cmd.exe' in the top bar above.
- Type yt-dlp and then the URL of the YouTube video you want.
- Press enter.
- Done!

It works rather well and the program in the original post seems to be based off of this.

You do need some knowledge of command line, though even that's not terribly difficult.

Maybe also try going to 'Settings -> Advanced', and try fiddling with Access Priority/the Renderer?

I was going to initially suggest downgrading to the non-Studio version of OBS, but I seem to be an old fart and that's been discontinued.

I'm sure this is something you've already considered/tried at this point, but what are you recording using OBS?

I'd advise trying to see if using another source capture method works, such as a Display Capture instead of a specific window.

Ah that blows. That's the worst aspect of losing a phone. I never really back up my personal collection myself.

Which I really should get into the habit of doing!

Like I hated the frogs from Misty Bog in Spyro 1. If they attacked with that same level of speed I could see myself getting frustrated with them.
