Opinions my own, and usually wrong.
Any other lyrics— don’t even try chronic town murmur or reckoning btw— just form vowels and syllables, and mean it

About a half-hour ago I deployed the change that stopped traffic to Glitch projects.

A major chapter of my life (and a small-but-cool part of the geography of the internet) closes.

If you’re a Wisconsin voter, you have the chance to strike a blow against Musk’s Department of Greed and Evil by voting to keep the WI Supreme Court in control of justices concerned with the rule of law and justice for the underrepresented.

A vote for Crawford is a vote for fairness and equality.

I usually give Gruber the benefit of the doubt when he spouts technical nonsense like this but my man doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about here.

Finished Netflix’s No Good Deed last night. Enjoyable but not as good as maybe it could have been (pretty typical of Lisa Kudrow’s post-Friends stuff, I think).

Best line from the series is in the last episode:

Him: “I love you.”
Her: “Thanks.”

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

I've reached the point in my life where I pick the tool for a specific household task not based on appropriateness to desired outcome, or even necessarily convenience, but instead based on how much relative pain it will cause me.

I wonder what the DevRel Marketing value of a brand's presence in a popular project's "Trusted By" section is?

Fellow Wisconsinites have you received your January ice delivery yet?

Didn’t “celebrate” on the day this year, and almost forgot to recognize it at all in 2024.

Maybe it’s time to stop counting?

Almost never isn't an exaggeration, the proportion of folk in positions of significant power who didn't get there through privilege is tiny, an anomaly

I mean seriously those little fuckers are going to kill me.
Whoever decided I should pick up a hobby where keeping track of little pieces of plastic the size of my pinkie nail is a core reality?

**That** guy should be taken to the woodshed and … severely chastised.

The fact that I can send an email to support@yourfuckedupcompany.com does **not** mean that you offer 24/7 support.

Someone needs to actually be on the other end 24/7 for that to be true.

God, I love libraries. Do you know that NYPL has an entire database of menus of major hotels/restaurants in the city organized by decade? menus.nypl.org

Historical fiction writers, this is just...amazing.
